This mare is in foal , and due to give birth , in around 4 weeks time . It was such a beautiful day , i could not resist , taking this series of portraits .

Shot on pro-film at f2.8 aperture , at 400mm , using a 2 x convertor at + 2 stops . I rested the camera on a gate post at around 25 feet away from the subject .
I hope viewers like . Also i hope to be present , when she gives birth , so may get some emotional shots of her soon , with new foal .
